Once upon a digital horizon, Makeke co-founders, Jenniffer, Drake, Adam, Mateusz and Chris embarked on a quest fuelled by a shared passion for empowering community, e-commerce and technology. Each founder brings with them specific expertise where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Adam with a PhD in Theoretical Physics runs a successful retail incubator; Jenniffer has two decades of corporate innovation, recruitment and marketing experience; Drake is a military veteran turned scale-up coach; Chris is the expert in all things application design/UX, and Mateusz is our amazing architect and technology wizard.

There were endless brainstorming sessions about jobs to be done, prioritizing backlogs, navigating through coding conundrums, design dilemmas, and the quest for the perfect algorithm. Despite the challenges, their collective determination forged a platform that now seamlessly blends the charm of supporting local businesses with the dynamics of online shopping.

The journey wasn't just about lines of code and pixels; it was a collaborative tale written by Jenniffer, Drake, Adam, Mateusz, and Chris.
